Dr. Clarisa first attended Colorado College completing a Minor in Asian studies. She later received her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Colorado. In 2005, Dr. Clarisa obtained her DDS from UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City, MO. She has received numerous scholarships and awards and has been a practicing dentist here in Colorado since her graduation from UMKC.
Dr. Clarisa grew up as a U.S. Army “brat” (the oldest of four children) and was able to travel and live in many different places all over the U.S. and Germany during her childhood. This start in life created a love of travel and she has been all over Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean Islands, and India. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and running. She annually participates in events such as the Bolder Boulder and Race for the Cure, and also volunteers her time to local community health fairs. She also enjoys trying new and challenging things like water rafting, bungee jumping, rock-climbing, and skydiving. When not outdoors, Dr. Clarisa likes spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Clarisa attended high school and did her undergraduate studies locally. She loves being able to call Colorado Springs her home.
